Scope
This part of ISO/IEC 2382 is intended to facilitate international communication in information technology. It presents, in two languages, terms and definitions of selected concepts relevant to the field of information technology and identifies relationships among the entries.
In order to facilitate their translation into other languages, the definitions are drafted so as to avoid, as far as possible, any peculiarity attached to a language.
This part of ISO/IEC 2382 defines concepts related to protection of data and information, including, cryptography, information classification and access control, recovery of data and information, and security violation. /

Domaine d'application
La presente partie de l'ISO/CEI 2382 a pour objet de faciliter les echanges internationaux dans le domaine des technologies de l'information. A cet effet, elle presente un ensemble bilingue de termes et de definitions ayant trait a des notions choisies dans ce domaine, et definit les relations pouvant exister entre les differentes notions.
Les definitions ont ete etablies de maniere a eviter les particularismes propres a une langue donnee, en vue de faciliter leur transposition dans les langues autres que celles ayant servi a la redaction initiale.
La presente partie de l'ISO/CEI 2382 definit les differentes notions relatives a la protection des donnees et des informations, y compris, la cryptographie, la classification des informations et le controle d'acces a ces informations, la recuperation des donnees et des informations et les atteintes a la securite.
